We provide funding for UK citizens or residents looking to complete a post-graduate course which will lead to a career in STEM subjects, and who need financial help with their maintenance costs. Every year we provide awards of between £1,200 and £4,500 to up to ten successful candidates. These funds are paid in three equal instalments—one each term. You can apply for funding if you can show that you are in genuine financial need, and have been accepted or provisionally accepted onto a postgraduate programme at one of these universities:
- Imperial College London
- The University of Bristol
- The University of Manchester
- The University of Nottingham
- The University of Southampton
- The University of Surrey.
Your application will be managed and reviewed by the university’s faculty office before being sent to us. We’ll then invite selected candidates to an interview. Interviews with the candidates are usually held in June in Guildford, Surrey and we will usually reimburse for reasonable travel expenses. Successful candidates are selected and notified after a final reference review whereafter awards for the forthcoming year are then closed.
