ALUMNI

The Trustees are always very interested in hearing from those who have had awards from the GET in past years regarding their career development, both on a personal level, and because it is also helpful for us to track the practical/career application of particular courses. Therefore, we have set up an alumni arrangement whereby we maintain a record of those who have been assisted by the Trust and, as far as possible, where their careers have taken them. We encourage grantees to update us every few years on how they are doing, or at the least to keep us posted with a current postal and email address so that, from time to time, we can give them news of the Trust.

We also hope that, once their careers are established, some of those who have received financial assistance from the GET may wish to contribute something back, either in terms of giving some of their time to talk to the Trustees or other prospective students about their experiences, or by giving a financial contribution to the Trust, however small or large. However, there is no obligation upon grantees to contribute back to the Trust.

We send to grantees an alumni information update form once they have been graduated for three years, but also would encourage grantees to keep us posted as to their current postal and email address and career development as and when things change so that we can keep our alumni database as up to date as possible.
